1.1Bazaar.in provides the Platform, including marketplace technology, administration, support, verification and related services. Bazaar.in is not treated as the product seller unless expressly identified as seller of record for a transaction.

1.2References to Bazaar.in, the Platform, we, us or our mean Bazaar.in.

1.3Bazaar.in acts as the principal Data Fiduciary/controller for Platform operations and processes data for the services described in this document.

2.1Data may include identity, contact, address, account, order, product, payment status, refund, settlement, KYC, tax, communication, review, device, IP, cookie, location where permitted, security and fraud information.

2.2VMS data may include claim statements, images, video, packaging and shipping labels, serial/SKU, delivery records, timestamps, decisions, reviewer notes and fraud-risk indicators.

3.1Information is obtained from Users, Sellers, payment providers, carriers, verification providers, devices, cookies, public/legal registries and lawful third parties.

3.2Bazaar.in will not obtain sensitive identifiers from an unauthorized source or use them for an incompatible purpose.

4.1Data is processed for accounts, orders, delivery, payment, Seller onboarding, VMS, returns, refunds, support, safety, fraud prevention, tax, legal compliance, analytics and service improvement.

4.2Consent is obtained where required. Other processing relies on contractual necessity, permitted uses, legal duties and legitimate security interests to the extent recognized by applicable law.

5.1Data may be shared on a need-to-know basis with Sellers, payment providers, carriers, verification services, cloud/support vendors, advisers, insurers, affiliates and authorities.

5.2Contracts must impose confidentiality, security, purpose limitation, deletion and breach duties. Bazaar.in does not sell personal data as a standalone commercial asset.

6.1Sellers may use Buyer data only for fulfilment, delivery, support, VMS cooperation and legal duties. Unrelated marketing, off-platform solicitation, profiling, sale and unauthorized retention are prohibited.

6.2VMS evidence is access-restricted and used for claim decisions, fraud prevention, dispute, audit and legal obligations. Material decisions should support manual review and explanation.

7.1Essential cookies support security and service delivery. Analytics, personalization and advertising technologies require the controls and consent applicable to them.

7.2Transactional communications may be sent for orders, security and support. Promotional messages require the applicable consent or lawful basis and an effective opt-out.

8.1Bazaar.in will maintain a documented schedule for accounts, orders, tax, KYC, payments, VMS, support, fraud, security and legal-hold data. Data is deleted or anonymized when the purpose and legal period end.

8.2Deletion may be refused or delayed where retention is required for law, dispute, fraud, tax, safety or enforcement, with an explanation where permitted.

9.1Controls include role-based access, authentication, encryption appropriate to risk, logging, secure hosting, vendor controls, testing and incident response.

9.2Affected persons and authorities will be notified where and within the period required by law. No system is perfectly secure, but reasonable safeguards and mitigation are mandatory.

10.1Authenticated Users may exercise applicable access, correction, update, deletion, consent withdrawal, nomination and grievance rights. Requests may be limited only on a lawful, reasoned basis.

10.2Children's data requires legally valid guardian involvement where applicable. Cross-border processing occurs only in permitted jurisdictions with appropriate contractual and security safeguards.

11.1Privacy complaints must receive an identifier and be handled by the designated grievance channel within applicable timelines. Statutory officer details must be inserted before publication.

11.2Material policy changes require notice and an effective date. Prior consent is obtained where a new purpose requires it.
