Bazaar.in Shipping, Delivery and Local Pickup Policy

Seller-shipped, carrier-assisted, local-pickup and mixed-order fulfilment

1. Scope and Fulfilment Roles

1.1Bazaar.in provides the Platform, including marketplace technology, administration, support, verification and related services. Bazaar.in is not treated as the product seller unless expressly identified as seller of record for a transaction.

1.2References to Bazaar.in, the Platform, we, us or our mean Bazaar.in.

1.3Orders may be Seller-shipped, carrier-assisted, locally collected or mixed. The order page should identify the method and responsible fulfilment party.

2. Serviceability, Processing and Estimates

2.1Serviceability depends on postcode, category, size, law, Seller and carrier capacity. Sellers must dispatch within the displayed handling period.

2.2Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly stated. Material delay should trigger notice and any cancellation or refund right required by the order promise or law.

3. Packaging, Labelling and Restricted Goods

3.1Sellers must use packaging suitable for the product, route and handling risk and comply with labels, dangerous-goods, temperature and transportation rules.

3.2Damage caused by inadequate packaging is Seller responsibility. Bazaar.in or a carrier may reject non-compliant shipments.

4. Charges, Tracking and Delivery Attempts

4.1Shipping and handling charges must be disclosed before purchase. Tracking is informational and may lag, but material events must be recorded.

4.2Buyer-caused failed delivery may lead to redelivery, return to origin or cancellation. Deductions require prior disclosure, legal basis and reasonable evidence; Seller or carrier fault cannot be charged to the Buyer.

5. Proof, Risk and Title

5.1Delivery may be evidenced by OTP, PIN, signature, photograph, GPS or carrier event. Evidence is rebuttable where credible contrary proof exists. OTP must not be requested before any required inspection or handover.

5.2Risk remains with the Seller until successful delivery or verified pickup, subject to contractual carrier responsibility. Title transfers as disclosed and permitted by law.

6. Local Pickup

6.1Local pickup is offered only where enabled. The Seller must maintain accurate location and hours, keep the item available, verify order and authorization, and preserve handover records.

6.2The Buyer must collect within the notified period. Any storage or cancellation deduction must be disclosed and lawful.

7. Damaged and Incorrect Products

7.1The Video Management System (VMS) is Bazaar.in's controlled system for capturing, uploading, timestamping, storing, integrity-checking, retrieving and reviewing claim videos and related evidence. VMS may associate video evidence with order, catalogue, payment, delivery, pickup, product, packaging, shipping-label, serial/SKU, seller, account and fraud-risk information.

7.2Except where applicable law requires another remedy, returns will be entertained only when a product is received damaged or an incorrect product is delivered. An incorrect product means the product, model, variant, size, colour, quantity or SKU does not match the confirmed order. Change-of-mind, preference, fit, compatibility, accidental post-delivery damage and no-longer-needed claims are not eligible.

7.3No return is approved until VMS records a decision. VMS must record the evidence considered, outcome, reason, responsible reviewer and timestamp. Bazaar.in may request reasonable evidence, arrange pickup or inspection, and use manual review. The absence of one evidence type, including an unboxing video, will not by itself defeat a remedy required by law.

7.4The Buyer and Seller will receive the decision and a reason for rejection. Either may request grievance review within the stated period. Fraudulent, altered, swapped, unrelated or serial-mismatched returns may be rejected and may lead to account restriction, recovery and lawful reporting.

7.5Claims ordinarily must be submitted within twenty-four (24) hours after delivery or pickup, subject to any longer product promise or mandatory right. Visible package damage should be documented promptly.

8. Lost, Partial and Mixed Shipments

8.1Confirmed lost items may be replaced or refunded. Responsibility is allocated using custody and carrier records. A Buyer is not charged for a confirmed transit loss.

8.2Mixed orders and split shipments are tracked and settled item by item; failure of one item does not automatically cancel another unless interdependence was disclosed.

9. Force Majeure, Complaints and Liability

9.1Events beyond reasonable control extend only the affected timeline and require notice, mitigation and resumption. Mandatory refunds and completed payment obligations remain governed by law.

9.2Complaints must be routed through support and the grievance process. Each responsible party remains liable for its own negligence, breach and non-excludable duties.
