iINTELLIGENCEi Clay Uruli with Lid and Handles, 7 inch, 1 litre, 1 Qty

A round red clay uruli (mann chatti) with a matching lid and two side handles, about 7 inch across and holding about 1 litre. Cook and serve curries, kuzhambu, fish curry, biryani, payasam and rice the traditional way on a gas stove or firewood stove on low to medium flame. Before first use, soak the pot and lid in water for a few hours, dry them, then season by boiling rice water. Avoid sudden temperature changes and wash with warm water and a soft scrubber, without soap. Natural clay colour varies slightly.
